Data Protection and Confidentiality
Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to protecting and safeguarding your data privacy rights. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) enters into force on 25th May 2018 and repeals the Data Protection Act (1998). The Practice acts as a Data Controller under GDPR and needs to lawfully hold your personal, sensitive and confidential data to provide you with healthcare services. The legal basis for this, under the GDPR, is covered by Article 6 (e) and Article 9 (h). Further information is contained in the following documents:
